GETTY Arsene Wenger is feeling the heat at Arsenal

Arsene Wenger

And for those Arsenal fans that don't trust what Pulis said, several reports emerged on Sunday night claiming that Wenger does want to stay at the club.

It's now understood that Wenger has no plans to quit and that the Arsenal board are happy for him to stay on, having already offered him an improved contract earlier in the year.

Arsene Wenger admits that he's wary of West Bromwich Albion's ability in the air and warned his side against giving away set pieces when Arsenal visit the Hawthorns on Saturday.

Fans have protested through the street at the last two home games, while a plane was hired to fly a banner over the Hawthorns at the weekend calling for him to leave.

"I know what I will do in my future, so you will soon know, very soon", Sport24 quoted Wenger as saying.

He has led his side to the last eight of the Champions League, while Dortmund are third in the Bundesliga.

The Arsenal boss, who insisted he had not informed anyone at the club of his decision, does not necessarily think the uncertainty surrounding his future is impacting on his players.

As of right now, Arsenal sit sixth in the Premier League standings and are in real danger of not qualifying for next year's Champions League, which requires a top-four finish. I take a bigger perspective.

According to Staff at the club's London Colney training base, Wenger is showing a positive change in his mood which is being viewed as an indication that he has made a decision to stay. "You can not imagine. It is one of happiest days of my career as a manager", he said after the 1-1 home draw against Liverpool.

There's still a fair amount of football left to play this season, but the way things are going, Arsenal fans shouldn't be surprised if an upcoming result trumps their current most hurtful. "I don't want to judge". As long as I am at the club, whether for two more years, 10 more years or four more months, that will not be different. So, you will soon know.
