Less than two weeks after Ed Sheeran set a Spotify record for the most streams in one day with his new album, √∑, Drake's new album (or playlist, as he's calling it), More Life, set two new records for Spotify. The artist, born Aubrey Graham, kept pushing "More Life" back, teasing listeners with clues while saying he considered it more a playlist custom-made for streaming music services than a traditional album.

Drake made the announcement after he debuted the tracks "Two Birds One Stone", "Fake Love", and "Sneakin" on his Apple Music OVO Sound radio show in October. In one of his songs "Free Smoke", Drake said in the lyrics, "I drunk text J. Lo / Old numbers so I bounce back / Boy Wonder gotta bounce back".

Drake FINALLY dropped his long-awaited playlist "More Life" on Saturday and as expected it's full of features from folks like Young Thug, 2 Chainz and Kanye West.

Netflix scrapping star ratings system in favour of 'thumbs up, down' reviews

Adam Levine talks about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's romance
There have also been rumors regarding their potential wedding plans, which have also been unconfirmed. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton attend the 2016 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

"More Life is interesting because this is (Drake) right on the peak of his biggest project yet (with 2016 album Views), doing his biggest tour and still having so many good ideas that he just wants to put out without making it a big ordeal", he explained. For the world is already hooked to this new number by Drake, More Life, and demolished records are the proof. And this song always tends to be the best song on the album-if only because it feels so authentic while leaving you wanting more.

The couplet effectively encapsulates the majority of More Life: a recycled cliché that's growing more and more hard to believe with each iteration. Critics and fans have accused Drake of taking popular trends and using them for his own personal gain while doing nothing for the artist responsible over the past couple of years (remember the Makonnen situation). He plays it off like he's not even trying- the term playlist implies something fleeting, as if Drake is just trying to get this hour-and-half of music off his mind. She also has a residency in Las Vegas to take care of, so Drake's new music will probably not be getting a warm reception on her end.

She maintained that they both had a spark in their relationship, but it seemed to die off when her vocals on the song "Get it Together" were changed by a British singer named Jorja Smith.
