One thing that Vikings fans were hoping for was opening the season at home.

According to The Advocate's Nick Underhill, the New Orleans Saints are going to be part of the Monday Night Football doubleheader to start the 2017 season, taking on the Minnesota Vikings.

The NFL will release the complete 2017 schedule Thursday night on the NFL Network starting at 7 p.m. CDT. They've dropped their last three season openers, and have lost five out of the last six.
