Who Is Kimberly Guilfoyle? Possible Sean Spicer Replacement the Fox News Host Has Praised Vladimir PutinMore

Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle told the San Jose Mercury News that she met with the Trump administration and discoursed about holding a position as a press secretary in the White House's press operations.

It's the latest in a series of rumors and rumblings about Spicer that started nearly since Day 1 of Trump's administration.

A senior White House aide also told the Daily Mail on Wednesday that the idea of Guilfoyle in the White House press room is "a total non-starter".

She was reportedly considered for press secretary during the transition, although Spicer ultimately beat her out.

Spicer is expected to keep his job but be more behind the scenes.

Rumors of Fox's Kimberly Guilfoyle being a possible replacement for Spicer were debunked by the White House and seemed to be self-serving.

"If you want to be successful and do communications with President Trump, you have to be someone who he actually wants to spend a little bit of time with", said Guilfoyle, per the news group.

"I think I have a very good relationship with the president", Guilfoyle said.
