North Korea's deputy UN ambassador says the country will rapidly strengthen its nuclear strike capability as long as the United States maintains its "hostile policy" toward the country.
Admiral Harry Harris, in discussing a stronger world response to North Korea's nuclear weapons program, stated, according to the Diplomat, "I firmly believe that the United States, Japan, South Korea, Australia, China, Russia and every nation who considers itself to be a responsible contributor to global security, must publicly and privately work together to bring Kim Jong-Un to his senses, not to his knees". "So I think in order to have an important influence on the USA policy on North Korea there should be close coordination and dialogue with President Trump as soon as possible".
U.S. President Donald Trump told South Korea's presidential envoy that Washington was willing to try to resolve the North Korean nuclear crisis through engagement, but under the right conditions, South Korea's foreign ministry said on Thursday.
One could nearly hear the "ho-hum" from North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un Tuesday, after the U.N. Security Council voted to condemn his most recent missile test. However, he stressed the need for a peaceful resolution by working through the United Nations with countries including China, the North's traditional ally and benefactor.
A North Korean missile launch last weekend was deemed successful, according to U.S. Defense officials.

Rondon gave up a ground-rule RBI double to Billy Hamilton , and Zack Cozart's fielder's choice grounder brought home Alcantara. The Rangers swept through an eight-game homestand against three teams, only their second time in franchise history to do that.
The missile's re-entry was controlled and the vehicle successfully re-entered the atmosphere without burning up.
They would be focusing on how they could isolate North Korea even more so as to convince the latter to turn its back on the "very unsafe path" it was treading on. The North also probably has a way to go before it can miniaturize a nuclear warhead to mount on such a missile.
And by the way, the Security Council added, all countries should implement previous United Nations requests for sanctions against North Korea.
"We are determined to take care of South Korea, which is why we have our mission there, working and that, as well", Haley said on "This Week". "You have to pick a side".
North Korea is also known as the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Pending that, however, the United States should not wait, - it should lead, refusing to let its actions be dictated by terrorists. This message, however, needs to be made loud and clear to our Palestinian neighbors.
