Real president Perez 'not contemplating' Ronaldo departure

20 June 2017, 04:34 | Pamela Mathis

A Spanish judge has summoned Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo to court to answer questions after he was accused of tax fraud by a state prosecutor.

David De Gea of Manchester United takes a goal kick during the Premier League match between Arsenal and Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on May 7, 2017 in London, England.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez admitted the Spanish and European champions would have loved to sign Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo is now in Russian Federation at the Confederations Cup, where Portugal got their campaign under way with a 2-2 draw against Mexico on Sunday.

On top of the finances, there is also the problem, probably the bigger one, of the manager. "I don't have any solution but Cristiano, like everyone else, has a contract and is a Real Madrid player", Perez told radio station Onda Cero on Monday after earning a third consecutive mandate at Real. What I have been told is that he is using the same corporate structure that he used in the United Kingdom and there were no problems there. Both Real and Inter, however, are attempting to hold out for higher fees than those offered but United do not want to overpay for either player.

"I have not spoken to any [clubs]".

At the least, Mr Trump's administration may use it to further pressure China and Russian Federation to try and rein in Pyongyang. Warmbier had lost a significant amount of brain tissue, and was unresponsive to his surroundings despite being awake.

Unsurprisingly, United's top brass are on "high alert" for the four-time Ballon d'Or victor, who quit the Theatre of Dreams for the Spanish capital back in 2009 for a then world-record £80m fee.

Free-spending Paris St Germain have also been linked with a player that Perez insists there have been no bids for, nor he says has there been any offers for Alvaro Morata or James Rodriguez.

He has won three Champions Leagues, two La Liga titles and two King's Cups in his eight years in the Spanish capital. Does Ronaldo really want to leave Real, or is he angling after a better deal?

"But now in the case of Cristiano Ronaldo, we want to clarify once and for all that this rumour has no basis and must be referred to in the realm of fables".

Ronaldo denies the claims but his anger at them has led to him wanting to move away from Spain.
