Per Cent of French Approve of President Trump Visit

Trump spent a large portion of his day and a half in the French capital in the embrace of Macron, who went to extraordinary lengths to impress the USA president by turning a day of national pride into a celebration of American patriotism and friendship between the two countries.

"It seems that Macron sees it as his personal task to get Trump back on board".

When he was asked these questions about the Paris agreement, Trump did not confirm or deny entering back into the agreement.

The visit played well in France, however: a poll by BFMTV showed some 59pc of French people thought Mr Macron was justified in inviting Mr Trump to Paris. On top of all that, she looks incredible for 64 years old, an observation Trump made pretty much the moment he met her.

"The American president could come to his senses and realize that he has just thrown away the opportunity for the lead the technological revolution that is about to usher in a zero-carbon economy", said Barry Gardiner, the U.K. Labour Party's shadow minister for global climate change. Nobody accused her of having sinister meetings with Russians.

It was announced John Lasseter will no longer be co-directing the film but Josh Cooley will be the lone director. Another clip was also shown at the panel, though it hasn't been released online.

Macron, in a speech near the end of the event, thanked the US for intervening in World War I and said the fact that Trump was at his side "is the sign of a friendship across the ages". It could be that Trump is paying enormous respect to Macron based on the welcome he feels in France. Speaking at a joint press conference, Trump reversed his previous negative talk about France and even said he'd happily return to Paris.

Macron made a point of detailing both the long history of ties between France and America and the areas where he and Trump disagree as he hosted the US president for a Bastille Day visit.

Trump, also dogged at home by an investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 USA election, appeared on Thursday to leave open the door for more talks on the Paris accord which he pulled the United States out of earlier this year.

Macron became France's youngest president when he won a runoff against far-right opponent Marine Le Pen in April. Macron's invitation is created to keep Trump at least partially engaged with European allies. Since then, however, the two leaders have had several conversations, both in person and on the phone, and developed a working relationship. That's what he did when he pulled out of the agreement. Macron needs a strong USA economy desperately.

But Mr Macron has clearly decided that Mr Trump is a reality that is not going away anytime soon and perhaps charm will work better than confrontation. Yet, the American President somehow managed to use the meeting as an opportunity to demean the French first lady rather than engaging in any meaningful, thoughtful dialogue. But Merkel will be gone before they can cross paths.
