According to Pakistan, Jadhav was arrested on March 3 previous year in Balochistan's Mashkhel area. However, India maintains that he was kidnapped from Iran where he had business interests after retiring from the Indian Navy. India has accused Pakistan of repeatedly violating the Vienna Convention.
