Twins 4, Astros 2: Reliable Rogers Escapes Bases-Loaded Jam

Santana got a lot of help from his defense as Joe Mauer made a couple of nice plays in his first game back from the DL and Miguel Sano made an outstanding, run-saving catch in the fourth inning.

The Twins will look for more from Dozier when they take on the host Houston Astros on Sunday in the rubber game of a three-game series.

The teams will finish the three-game series Sunday afternoon at 1:10 p.m. Mike Fiers (5-4 3.84) will start against the Twins Kyle Gibson (5-7 6.31).

In 10 starts since being called back up from Rochester, Gibson has a 5.40 ERA, has given up 10 homers and has 35 strikeouts against 25 walks. His last start before the break saw him give up seven runs in just four innings to the Orioles.
