The Nintendo Switch continues its stellar run of independent game support, with two great, acclaimed indie games having been confirmed for Nintendo's new hybrid system recently.

This news comes directly from Super Meat Boy creative studio Team Meat who announced via their Twitter account that the 2010 indie hit will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch as part of its unofficial tour of almost every major gaming console and device. The idea isn't that big of a stretch. As with Super Meat Boy, no final release date has been confirmed for Mutant Mudds Deluxe yet.
In replies to questions on Twitter, developer Team Meat said the port comes courtesy of BlitWorks, the Spanish crew responsible for a number of well-received ports including Olli Olli, Don't Starve, Bastion, Fez, Axiom Verge, Spelunky and even other versions of Super Meat Boy.
Originally released in 2010 Super Meat Boy is a platform game; players assume the role of the titular character whose appearance is a small, dark red, cube-shaped and must defeat the evil scientist Dr. Fetus and save his girlfriend, Bandage Girl.
