At least one person was killed and 19 others were injured Saturday when a vehicle rammed into a group of counter-protesters during the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Va. We will release more information as we are able.

Charlottesville Mayor Mike Signer also said in a statement that "the council's decision to give Chief Thomas the authority to enact a curfew as appropriate was made out of an abundance of caution". Multiple people were injured in the incident, the Charlottesville Police Department said on its Facebook page.
