Neymar marks Paris Saint-Germain debut with a goal against Guingamp

Liverpool's Trent Alexander Arnold celebrates scoring their first goal against Hoffenheim in the UEFA Champions League qualifying playoff first leg in Sinsheim Germany on Tuesday

Neymar put together a fantastic debut for PSG debut, scoring a goal and dishing out an assist in a 3-0 win against Guingamp in Ligue 1 action on Sunday.

Ikoko's 52 minutes own goal had given PSG the lead, while Cavani scored the second goal in the 62nd minute of the match.

Neymar helped carve out the first real chance in the 15th minute, combining neatly with Thiago Motta to free Cavani but Johnsson saved with his legs to deny the Uruguayan.

It's amusing to think that for PSG's management to recoup all their €222 millionworth from Neymar, he needs to be scoring a truckload of goals over the next five years he's at PSG.

EPL: Man United, West Ham Go For Showdown At Old Traford
Lukaku likes playing West Ham , and before the game had bagged nine goals in his last 10 games against them for Everton . West Ham have made some smart additions this summer, but United seem primed to return to the role of title contenders.

With Unai Emery's side already leading 1-0 thanks to Jordan Ikoko's freakish own goal, Neymar assisted Edinson Cavani with a wonderful pass before the roles were reversed eight minutes from time for the Brazilian to tap home.

PSG went agonisingly close to breaking the deadlock in the 36th minute as Neymar's free-kick found Marquinhos, who saw his header crash against the crossbar.

Despite Monaco fans' concerns that French prodigy Kylian Mbappé might be leaving, they know they can still trust Radamel Falcao after the Colombian striker hit a hat-trick.

The win sees PSG join four other clubs as the remaining teams with a 100% record after two league games.
