On Aug. 2, as reporters lobbed questions about sanctions on Russian Federation following its meddling in the 2016 election, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders took the time to read a letter to President Donald Trump from Frank Giaccio, a then-10-year-old from Falls Church, Virginia.
When the boy finally paused, the president called him the "future of the country right here" and asked what he wanted to be when he grew up. "Well, he'll make it".
"Maybe he'll be president", Trump said.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders read Frank's letter during a daily briefing in August.
"It's probably the biggest day of my life so far", FX said afterwards.
