Trump again seizes on terror incident to call for travel ban

British Prime Minister Theresa May said on Friday it was not helpful for people to speculate on any investigation after U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted that the culprits behind a bombing on a train were in the sights of the police.

Tweets from the USA president following a terrorist attack on Friday prompted an immediate backlash.

"Another attack in London by a loser terrorist. These are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard. Must be proactive!" Mr Trump said, appearing to reveal undisclosed intelligence from the headquarters of London's Metropolitan police force.

"Loser terrorists must be dealt with in a much tougher manner". The internet is their main recruitment tool which we must cut off & use better! Police said the explosion was a terrorist attack, the fifth in Britain this year. In fact, I'm going to call the Prime Minister right now.

The issue concerning the scope of the travel ban has been making its way through the courts since last spring, when the Supreme Court allowed Trump's ban to go into effect except for those with a "bona fide" relationship to the United States.

An explosion on a London Underground train on Friday was caused by an "improvised explosive device", British police said.

Hector Bellerin made it 3-1 in the 82nd minute to seal an opening night win, sending the Arsenal supporters home happy, albeit at 11pm.

At this point, we have no idea who's responsible for the attack in Parsons Green, so blaming ISIS may be a little premature. He adds: "Must be proactive & nasty!" As a candidate, Trump often pledged to "bomb the hell out of ISIS" and vowed to enact a Muslim ban.

On Friday, Trump again jumped into the fray, promoting his handling of extremist militants and saying the government should cut of the internet to such groups.

Trump is using the incident to defend his travel ban against six Muslim-majority countries.

However, former chief of staff to May Nick Timothy on Friday called Trump's "loser terrorist" tweets "unhelpful".

In March, the White House left United Kingdom spooks apoplectic when it cited unproven media reports that President Barack Obama had asked Britain's signals intelligence agency, GCHQ, to monitor then-candidate Mr Trump in order to "make sure there were no American fingerprints". The administration has yet to say whether it will seek to renew the bans, make them permanent or expand the travel ban to other countries.
