Now share Instagram Stories to Facebook
The stories features, a copy of the Snapchat feature of the same name, was introduced a year ago on Instagram and was rumoured to be Facebook just testing the idea for their own platform.
Last month Instagram confirmed its testing the feature to Mashable but didn't share any other information. The feature should be on most people's devices in the next weeks, except for businesses as they aren't allowed on Facebook stories yet.
Facebook and Instagram have tied their platforms closer together, in a setup that will satisfy heavy social media sharers.
When you have taken a picture, video or boomerang and choose to post it to your Instagram story you click next and then when you are choosing whether to post it to your story or whether to send it to some of your friends via direct message, you can now also click the option to share to your Facebook story.
"You now have the option to share your Instagram Stories to your Facebook Stories". After all, no one uses Facebook Story.
The only exception is businesses as they now do not have access to Facebook stories.

In August Facebook announced it's bringing Stories to the desktop. Facebook Stories had gone off to a slow start, but this new integration should see more engagement on the relatively quiet feature of the social networking app. But its safe to say that this feature might be included in future updates.
Yet Stories hasn't been a huge success for the company.
This feature should make it a lot easier to post your Stories on both apps, ensuring as many people as possible see highlights from your day.
Having said that, one advantage of being able to share Instagram Stories directly on Facebook is that it would save time as users won't have to manually keep uploading it on Facebook.
Critics are saying the same about the move to cross post Instagram Stories to Facebook.
