With this new development, Microsoft has finally publicly acknowledged that Windows 10 Mobile is a dead platform, and moving on to Android or iOS device sounds like a better plan for these device owners.
Of course we'll continue to support the platform. bug fixes, security updates, etc, goal building new features/hw aren't the focus.
The news of Windows 10 Mobile's downfall could be down to the platform's small "volume of users", tweeted Belfiore, which prevented "most" third-party tech firms from investing in it.
