JJ Watt Carted Into Locker Room After Injury

JJ Watt suffered a scary knee injury during 'Sunday Night Football'

Beckham suffered a broken bone in his left ankle, believed to be an isolated fibula fracture, during Sunday's game against the Chargers and he will have surgery to fix it this week. I'm so thankful for this game.

Beckham had five catches for 97 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers, ending his season with 25 catches, 302 yards and three touchdowns.

In addition to losing Beckham for the season, the Giants will also be without veteran wide receiver Brandon Marshall. He did play with the Giants last season and recorded two catches for 50 yards in seven games. The Giants placed him and wideout Dwayne Harris on injured reserve on Monday. They'll join Roger Lewis Jr., who came out of Sunday's game as the only healthy receiver on the 53-man roster.

Houston Texans star J.J. Watt went down with an apparent knee injury, and was in visible pain as he limped off the field.

Liverpool's Mane out for up to six weeks
The injury is especially badly timed for Klopp with Liverpool's bitter rivals Manchester United visiting Anfield on Saturday. Mané has scored three goals in four Premier League appearances.

Beckham was the last of four Giants' receivers knocked out of the game. This includes the promotion of wide receiver Ed Eagan from the practice squad to the active roster. He had a strong offseason with the Giants, but was waived/injured in the summer due to a hamstring injury. He's out for the year, and now Marshall is as well.

"It's a sad situation", Ben McAdoo said Monday, speaking about his conversation with Beckham after the injury but also, perhaps, the lurch it leaves the 0-5 Giants in. The Giants back in April picked up his fifth-year option, meaning Beckham is set to earn $8.4 million in 2018, guaranteed for injury.

Eagan was initially an undrafted rookie in 2016 with the Dallas Cowboys on their practice squad but was released in August before the start of the regular season. "Next man up. Hate to see it but it's part of the game", McAdoo said.
