Sharif's son-in-law arrested, gets bail with wife

The court asked whether Nawaz Sharif should be given exemption for 15 days over which NAB prosecutor appealed to issue his non-bailable arrest warrant for not attending the hearing despite assurance.

The Court provided the copies of the references to Maryam Nawaz, and ordered to release Captain (retd) Safdar on bail.

Replying to a question about her brothers Hassan and Hussain Nawaz appearance in the court, she said they would take the decision of returning to Pakistan on their own.

However, Sharif and his two sons were absent as they are in London where 67-year-old Sharif's wife is battling throat cancer.

Referring to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan, who has refused to appear in several cases, Maryam said the "absconders are free and hold public meetings".

Sharif's sons - Hassan Nawaz and Hussein Nawaz - who are British nationals, have opted for not appearing before the court.

The NAB has filed three cases of corruption and money laundering against Nawaz Sharif, his sons, Maryam, son-in-law, and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

Muhammad Bashir, judge of the accountability court, is hearing the references against former Prime Minister Nawaz and his family members.

Wisconsin ran on eight of 10 plays in a 93-yard drive for the go-ahead touchdown with Quintez Cephus scoring on a five-yard pass. Nebraska is down to its third running back but it appears that Devine Ozigbo might be the best option going forward.

The judge barred Safdar from leaving Pakistan without its permission but rejected the NAB's request to confiscate his passport.

Maryam Nawaz tweeted a picture of Kulsoom in the hospital, with Nawaz by her side, and thanked her followers for their "valuable prayers".

Meanwhile, the NAB has initiated the process of obtaining red warrants for Hassan and Hussain from Interpol.

"We are not among those who worry about arrests", the Dawn quoted Maryam, as saying.

She said she was going to the test the judicial system of Pakistan. Maryam and Safdar were granted bail yesterday in the Panama Papers case.

"When they could not find any evidence, they disqualified him on the Iqama (work permit) issue", she contended.

Nawaz Sharif was dismissed as prime minister in July for allegedly hiding a source of income "he disputes receiving", according to Reuters.
