Las Vegas Shooting Chicago Marathon

In the 72-minute shooting, 58 people were killed and 527 were injured as they attended a Route 91 Harvest Festival along the Las Vegas Strip.

Campos was shot through the door at 9:59 p.m. - "prior to [Paddock's] shooting to the outside world", Lombardo said.

The security guard, Jesus Campos, was shot in the leg by some of the more than 200 rounds that Paddock fired into the hallway.

Las Vegas hotel and gambling magnate Steve Wynn, who owns casinos that Paddock gambled in but not the Mandalay Bay, said Sunday that his hotels have undertaken special security measures in recent years to identify potentially unsafe guests.

The revision to the timeline raises new questions about the timing of the police response - and about why Paddock stopped shooting around 10:15 p.m., if it was not Campos' intervention that caused him to do so.

The guard was shot six minutes prior to gunman Stephen Paddock opening fire onto a crowd of thousands at a country-western concert last Sunday, Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said Monday afternoon. "I want us to do whatever I can to tell the authorities to look here, look there". Sheriff Lombardo said that he was frustrated with the pace of the investigation, but that federal and local authorities had recently revisited Mr. Paddock's property in hopes of developing new leads.

Lombardo also stated that Paddock checked into the hotel on September 25, three days earlier than the police previously reported.

"He's like on retainer, I call it, I guess", Paddock said of the doctor.

In addition, Lombardo said Paddock's motives were still unclear and there was no evidence that he had been motivated by any ideology.

Seahawks force five turnovers in comeback win over Rams
Graham was Seattle's leading receiver with six catches for 37 yards, while Doug Baldwin had four catches for 37 yards. Russell Wilson bounced back from two early interceptions to finish 21 of 26 for 295 yards and two touchdowns.

The update was made after police conducted a thorough interview with Campos, who is said to be shaken up by the incident but cooperating.

"This individual purposely hid his actions leading up to this event, and it is hard for us to find the answers", said Lombardo, who said he was frustrated with the speed of the investigation.

Americans still know very little about shooter Stephen Paddock other than that he was a wealthy real estate investor turned gambler.

In the course of the questioning, Paddock said he had no criminal records, no mental health issues and no history of addiction.

"Every piece of information we get is one more piece to the puzzle in this case", Lombardo said.

The sheriff also said investigators do not believe that a single event pushed him to do what he did.

"Currently, we do not believe there is one particular event in the suspect's life for us to key on", the sheriff said. said.

Investigators are yet to establish what may have compelled Paddock, who had no known links to radical groups and left no manifesto or messages, to carry out the massacre.
