OnLeaks posts renders of the Nokia 9, showing off curved glass and no headphone jack
These renders of Nokia 9 have been leaked by OnLeaks in collaboration with CompareRaja. Now the company is going to come up with another flagship Nokia 9 to take on the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8. The size of the flagship will be only 141х73х9 millimeters taking into account protruding module dual camera on the rear panel, that is, it is relatively compact.
Though we can't verify the email, Trusted Reviews subsequently contacted HMD Global who confirmed that the Noke 8 won't reach the US. And the recently leaked render images are the most prominent ones and give us a fair bit of idea about the design of the upcoming handset and what features it might sport during the official launch.
Nokia is back with a bang. Rumored specs are as follows: 5.5-inch AMOLED panel, Quad HD resolution, Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB or 128GB onboard storage, dual-lens camera setup, OZO audio, several mics for active noise cancellation, and a fingerprint sensor. Instead of the 3.5mm audio jack port, the phone may come with USB Type-C earphones. Well, there's no 3.5 mm headphone jack on the Nokia 9, and, it isn't too surprising, considering how many manufacturers (including Google) have ditched the 3.5 mm headphone jack on their smartphones.
I'm pleased to be the bearer of three promising pieces of news regarding the Nokia Android phones today. Rumours suggest that the Nokia 9 will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and will get updated to Android 8.0 Oreo soon. Like the most recent flagship smartphones that have been announced, the Nokia 9 will also feature a design that's almost bezel-less. Meanwhile, HMD Global is working on another budget phone, which may be called Nokia 2.
