ASIAWIREPassport news The women had travelled to South Korea from China to have their procedures
The women - wrapped chin-to-dome in bandages - were barred from boarding a flight home at an airport in South Korea, detained and grilled by immigration officers.
But with their faces heavily swollen and covered in bandages, can you really blame the security personnel?
This isn't the first Golden Week travel problem, either; previous year, 100 Chinese tourists spent up to five days of their holiday stranded in an airport, having been denied entry to South Korea's Jeju Island.
The women were left stranded at an unnamed airport in the country after surgery had changed their faces so radically that the authorities were unable to confirm their identity.
However, Jian has since removed her post, indicating that this story may very well have burned the Chinese internets. Jian even joked that their mothers wouldn't recognize them.

It's price also reached a historical value of $5,226; this is not the first time Bitcoin's price has soared. The main reason why the valuation of Bitcoin is rising is due to a rise in demand for the cryptocurrency .
It wasn't clear how long they remained at the airport - and if they were able to return to China as of Monday morning. The picture was liked more than 51,000 times and shared more than 23,000 times. Many foreigners, especially from China, fly to South Korea specifically for plastic surgery. Almost half of women in Seoul under the age of 30 are estimated to use plastic surgeries to enhance their facial features. The people of the country believe that getting the surgery done leads to better employment prospects and a happier life, says news.com.au.
South Korea is notorious for its enthusiastic, and often controversial, approach to plastic surgery - particularly major facial surgery, which aims to make clients look more "Western".
It was reported that the British and Brazilian TV personality's face no longer matched his passport photo.
