Saudi Arabia launches military strikes on Yemeni capital
During a visit to the Gulf, Macron blamed Iran for a ballistic missile launch by Yemeni rebels targeting Saudi Arabia last weekend.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry has responded to the call of the French President to hold talks on the country's ballistic missile program, firmly rejecting the idea and noting that it is exclusively defensive in nature.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi demanded that France remain "realistic, fair and farsighted" when it comes to matters of the Middle East and Gulf regions, according to a ministry statement released Saturday.
