More Sunshine, Warmer Monday

A cold cloudy and dull day in Donegal

Across our region, clouds will give way to sunshine today, which will boost afternoon temperatures well up through the 50s.

Going through the next week, temperatures will warm a little back in to the mid 70s by the middle of the week and then another cold front will slide through Friday night.

More sunshine moves in this week with afternoon temperatures mainly in the 50s aside from Thursday when we could reach 60°. Our next chance of rain looks to be either Saturday or Saturday night as a blustery cold front moves across our area.

US Navy aircraft carriers operate off Korean Peninsula
Also on Saturday, the US and South Korean navies launched four days of joint drills off the east coast of South Korea. The exercises will also involve 11 US Aegis ships and seven South Korean naval vessels, including two Aegis ships.

But despite the warm temperatures, the record in Denver is 75 degrees - set back in 1999, so we won't come close to that. High temperatures will be near 70 degrees.

Monday evening will be just about flawless for the Panthers tailgate time, clear and dry with temperatures falling from the mild 60s to the cool 40s during game.

Cooler weather is expected by Sunday under mostly sunny skies. It still appears moisture will be limited and the better dynamics stay well to the north of Alabama so we are not expecting severe weather.
