NASA launching JPSS-1 weather satellite

The most important weather satellite you've never heard of launches to space Tuesday
"It's always exciting to launch a satellite", Asbury said Friday.
ATMS will provide critical microwave data, including atmospheric temperature and moisture profiles, to support weather forecasting for the operational JPSS system.
The National Weather Service anticipates being able to take advantage of these measurements to improve its forecasts, particularly for high-impact weather events, such as hurricanes and winter storms.
"It allows us to see smaller, better detail, smaller forest fires, know when they're starting and then allow, tell the decision makers and the responders how they need to respond and react", said Vanessa Griffin, with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Each will circle the globe 14 times a day, 50 minutes apart and provide full, global observations for US weather prediction.
Chance of rain on Tuesday
Rain chances will stay at 0% and we will still be breezy with wind coming from the north at 10-15 miles per hour . A fast-moving front brings a few showers Wednesday night and Thursday before it's back to nice weather Friday .
Earth as seen from the Suomi-NPP satellite's VIIRS instrument on November 12, 2017. Several duplicate satellites are in the pipeline in the decades ahead, he said. "JPSS will continue this trend". Over longer timescales, this data will help improve our understanding of climate patterns that influence the weather, such as El Nino and La Nina. The series of four JPSS satellites are expected to span 20 years. NOAA funds and manages the program, operations and data products.
Tuesday's launch window, which will be the same on Wednesday, was just 66 seconds. Raytheon Corporation built the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite and the Common Ground System. Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems built the Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder and the Clouds and the Earth's Radiant Energy System instrument.
The mission is scheduled to begin at 4:47 a.m. EST (1:47 a.m. PST), Nov. 10, 2017, with JPSS-1 atop a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Delta II rocket lifting off from Space Launch Complex 2 (SLC-2) at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.

Why Entrepreneurs Carry Business Cards
You will have to wait for them to visit your website or store later and this can mean they’ve already forgotten about you. If you succeed in creating a memorable business card, you don’t just connect deeper with the person you gave the card to.
