New 'Super Mario' Cereal Also Functions as an Amiibo

Report: Nintendo to start offering in-game power-ups via cereal boxes
Apparently Super Mario Cereal is already appearing in the inventory systems of major USA retailers.
The back of the Super MarioCereal box is cool as well, with a maze that you can finish. This is because the company has partnered up with Kellogg's to release some officially licensed Super Mario cereal.
Nintendo is entering the world of breakfast with the help of Kellogg's. The box (and perhaps the cereal too) will have a limited run. Every box is an Amiibo, unlocking gold coins and hearts in Super Mario Odyssey.
Testing dates 'tomb of Jesus' to ancient Roman times
Experts say that opening the tomb after hundreds of years could transform what we know about Christ's "final resting place". The mortar samples were taken during extensive archaeological and restoration works to the Edicule by the NTUA a year ago .
The limited-edition Super Mario cereal features power-up elements from Super Mario Odyssey (but looks a heck of a lot like everyone's favorite marshmallow cereal, Lucky Charms) and is so much more than just a breakfast food. In addition to bringing Nintendo-themed cereals back to store shelves, the cereal also acts as an amiibo. But never fear, the news is still good: Kellogg's and Nintendo announced today that a Super Mario Cereal will hit the shelves on December 11 in order to celebrate the release of Super Mario Odyssey, which is, as of now, Amazon's best-selling video game of 2017.
In September this year, Nintendo announced a partnership with Post to put Mario branding on cereals like Honey Bunches of Oats, Honeycomb, Golden Crisp, and more. Great for kids, and the adults that love Super Mario. On top of that, a Cerealously reader said that they received confirmation from Kelloggs themselves that the cereal would be hitting store shelves in the United States very soon.
