Caitlyn Frisina left was found safe Friday. It's believed she left Florida with Rian Rodriguez right. Columbia County Sheriff's Office
A Florida high school student for almost a week was found safe Friday in NY, authorities say.
Hunter acknowledged that Caitlyn went willingly with Rodriguez when the two left Florida, but said he believed she was influenced by someone in a position of control over her.
"She didn't know how to get out it and if she did he would mess up her life", the friend said Frisnia told her.
Caitlyn Frisina, 17, reunited with her parents over the weekend.
The spokesman said Frisina was relieved and emotional when she finally made contact with her parents, and seemed regretful about some of the decisions she's made. A friend told her parents Frisina said the soccer coach wanted to leave the USA and the teenager felt trapped in the decision, according to an arrest warrant obtained by Action News Jax on Sunday. The sheriff's office said, the officer came to the vehicle, pulled it and took Rodriguez into custody.
Officials at Fort White High School suspended Rodriguez, who coached the boys' soccer team at the school north of Gainesville. The teen's friend later revealed to the anxious parents that Frisina had previously "hooked up" with Rodriguez, the affidavit stated. The coach faces charges for interference with child custody, but may also face more charges.

Despite the close proximity to these tests, Cathay Pacific is not planning on changing its routes any time soon. The Cathay Pacific flight took off from San Francisco and was bound for Hong Kong.
Frisina said Friday before her daughter was found that Rodriguez was the only person who didn't answer when she and her husband were calling around trying to find Caitlyn Sunday morning.
"I don't know. Until we had to breathe I think", Scarlet said.
Officials say the 17-year-old girl sneaked out of her home in Fort White, Florida, on November 25.
Rodriguez will be extradited from NY to Florida sometime in the next two weeks, Hunter said. That was the teen's last known location, Smith said. The father made the discovery after Caitlyn disappeared.
State police investigator Todd Grant told the Syracuse Post-Standard he spotted Rodriguez's vehicle, a red Mercury Sable, on Friday after Rodriguez left an employee orientation at a Salina direct marketing firm.
