The Honor 7X is now officially launching in the United States, and it costs only $199.99. It is essentially a re-branded version of the Honor V10, which was launched on November 28 in China.
Last week I attended a press event where I took away an Honor 7X for testing. Amazon India will exclusively begin the sale of the newHonor smartphone on December 7.
Honor View 10 has been launched at an event in London on Tuesday. It features a metal back (available in Navy Blue and Midnight Black), rather than glass. As we have already made few articles about this topic, now we know the most important thing, that is the pricing. With what appears to be a capable SoC, Honor has paired 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage variants, all of which comes with expandable memory (up to 256 GB). It comes with 6GB of RAM and will be available in 64GB & 128GB storage options. The Honor 7X also features a microSD card slot that can support cards up to 256GB.
Honor unveils View 10 with 5.99-inch screen & AI capabilities
"It has a 5.93" FHD+ 18:9 display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
Moving on to the imaging department, the dual camera module on the rear panel comprises of 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel sensors with dual tone LED flash. The fingerprint sensor finds home at the lower front bezel of the phone.
A single charge of the 3,340 mAh battery enables Honor 7X to be on the go for more than 24 hours.Combined with a powerful octa-core Kirin 659 and graphics processing unit (GPU), the Honor 7X provides a clarity and user experience that is incomparable at this highly competitive price.
The smartphone comes in two variants- a 3GB RAM/32GB storage model and a 4GB RAM/64GB storage model. The View 10 will also get an exclusive Face Unlock feature, which looks similar to the OnePlus 5T's implementation as it simply relies on a standard front-facing camera, can not see in 3D, and is not secure enough to be used to authenticate payments.
The Honor View 10 uses USB Type-C for charging and supports NFC. The selfie camera is 13MP and comes with AI portrait recognition, motion sensing and (for some reason) the ability to change the background of your selfies.
