Google Maps rolls out two-wheeler mode for motorcyclists in India

Google Maps introduces India-first two-wheeler mode
Some users in India are viewing a new Motorcycle mode or Two-Wheeler mode in the latest version of Google Maps (v9.67.1) for Android. Waze, the social navigation app owned by Google, rolled out its motorcycle routes to a global audience.
As pointed out in screenshots provided by Android Police, this mode cuts off a few minutes off of shorter rides, and up to an hour off of longer ones. The two-wheeler mode will arrive in more countries in the coming months.
Google Maps has been a pretty useful tool for navigation providing auto and walking routes as well as the ability to directly book a cab. It also provides customized traffic and arrival time estimations to these vehicles. This new mode should help motorcyclists get around more efficiently as it shows shortcuts not available to cars and trucks. Google Maps has also realized this finally and on this notion, has designed the service to specifically facilitate the two-wheelers. Chances are that you followed Google Maps step-by-step but because the app could not differentiate between the roads that are not meant for motorcycles, you ended up spending more time on your journey.
The Two Wheeler Mode allows users to navigate through spaces, only accessible by 2 wheelers. It also gives information about the parking scenario at their destination, a handy feature that was previously seen in the vehicle mode.
"We don't adapt maps for India". The feature will also reportedly show parking status at the destination along with road closures on the way.
For most Google Maps users, getting directions to a destination comes with three or four options: cars, public transportation, walking, and possibly cycling.
