At least two television shows have been affected by the California wildfires that have been raging across at least 50,000 acres of land.
"Westworld" and "S.W.A.T." are the latest shows to freeze all motor functions due to wildfires.
The HBO fantasy drama was filming its upcoming second season in the area, but the studio made a decision to shut down production to avoid any danger to cast and crew. Both shows are shot near Santa Clarita, in Los Angeles County, where a fire erupted this morning and grew rapidly throughout the day. Officials in nearby Ventura County have issued a mandatory evacuation of 27,000 people as the wind-driven Thomas Fire spread to the Pacific town.
A staff for the studio revealed that their Internet connection has been down due to the fire.
