The situation got a little more uncomfortable for passengers on a typically 6-hour Delta flight from New York City to Seattle on Saturday night, which was forced to make an unscheduled pit stop - or "potty break", as the Billings Gazette puts it - in Billings, Montana.
It came after the Boeing 757's toilets had stopped working and passengers were queuing up and indicating they needed the toilet, according to an incident report published on AeroInside.
"All toilets were full and passengers needed to 'go really bad, '" read a report from Delta.
Cabin crew could have taken the "parent on a road trip" route, which would involve making sure everybody went to the bathroom before taking off cause it's six hours to Seattle and we aren't stopping.

North American Climate Summit
Obama ratified the Paris agreement in 2015, and President Trump said in June that the US would pull out of it. Mayor Emanuel has continued to push his way forward in city sustainability and environmental protections.
The plane taxied to a cargo area due to a lack of available gates and a stairway was rolled out so passengers could "disembark to find relief of built-up pressures", the Delta report states.
Travelers were escorted to the terminal so the plane could be serviced and refueled for takeoff.
Cabin crew were unable to fix the problem and the smell became unbearable for passengers seated nearby, forcing the plane to turn around near Brussels and land at Heathrow Airport.
Ploehn told the Billings Gazette that while flights are diverted to the airport on occasion, it's rare for them to stop to let passengers use the bathroom. "That's why the flight was diverted", the FAA said in a statement.
