Michael Wolff On Donald Trump Exposé: 'I Am Not A Hit Man'

Michael Wolff's'Fire And Fury claims insight into Trump presidency

The impact: The Western diplomats said freezing or cutting of such a big part of the US funding would be catastrophic for the organization, would hamper its work and might lead to negative consequences for the Palestinian refugee camps in Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan and Lebanon. Wolff confirmed he has recordings and notes related to the information he published. "I thought this was going to be an extraordinary story in whatever way it went".

Trump's attorney, Charles Harder, sent a cease-and-desist letter Wednesday to the publisher and author making the legal argument that the book was defamatory and libelous and that there was "actual malice" behind the claims in the book.

Wolff's book has been heavily criticised by both Trump and Trump's supporters online, with the official GOP Twitter condemning the publication with its own satirical poster.

Born in New Jersey and educated at Columbia University, Mr. Wolff made his name as the media columnist for NY magazine. A libel lawsuit would put the president in the position of proving that what Wolff says he observed and heard are false.

Melania Trump, in particular, "was horrified by the prospect of victory", the book claims and "was in tears - and not of joy" when her husband eventually won, reported The Guardian.

But if he did overstep, I would have said something. "That's why we have this platform to use to try to help bring change". Said Ngakoue: "It was just after a certain play". "I've been playing this game since I was a little kid", Ngakoue said.

Radiohead Suing Lana Del Rey For Allegedly Copying "Creep"
Maybe that's why Del Rey claims to have already offered the band a settlement, one she claims its lawyers have rejected. It's a pretty safe bet that Lana will have to cough up - " Get Free " and " Creep " do sound remarkably similar.

"Trump didn't read. He didn't really even skim".

The author of the book insists he spoke with Trump on the record during the campaign and inside the White House and that Trump knew the conversations were for potential publication. "What they say to any reporter who they relax with and they forget who they're talking to, I have sympathy for that, and I think the natural response is to say, 'Oh, my God, I didn't say it.' But I will tell you, they said it". "I spoke to him after the inauguration, yes". "My window into Donald Trump is pretty significant".

Trump reportedly gave Michael Wolff free range in the White House to observe the happenings of his administration. He also said that Donald Trump Jr. would "crack like an egg on national TV" and that the Mueller investigation would uncover money laundering. The book includes unsavory anecdotes about Trump, including references to the president's aversion to reading, administration officials' incessant leaking to the press and an episode of former chief strategist Steve Bannon calling Donald Trump Jr.'s 2016 meeting with Russian operatives "treasonous".

Bannon lost the financial and political support of the billionaire Mercers over his remarks, and his future at Breitbart News is up in the air.

But the author also seemed to reveal that he had used a bit of deception to gain the trust of the very aides who looked foolish or disingenuous in the book. According to his critics, The Washington Post said, "Wolff has a penchant for stirring up an argument and pushing the facts as far as they'll go, and sometimes further than they can tolerate". But "I certainly said whatever was necessary to get the story".
