Razer's Project Linda concept turns its Android phone into a laptop

Razer didn't share any details about pricing or even going into full production with the Project Linda at this time.
Gaming accessories company Razer has created a laptop extension that, when coupled with a Razer Phone, creates a working, LED lit Android laptop.
As with other Razer concepts, theres no certainty that Project Linda will ever get a consumer release. The Razer Phone, launched a few weeks ago as a device for gamers with a 120 Hz IGZO display and focused on content consumption with loud front facing speakers, is now the recommended premium device that Netflix suggests to watch Netflix content on. When the phone has been docked, you can start using the display as a touchpad, which is a great feature and because the display size is already big, the trackpad area can be equivalent to a 2016 or 2017 MacBook Pro notebook's overly sized trackpad. The Project Linda concept, revealed today at CES 2018, is a dock for the Razer Phone that turns it into a 13.3-inch Android gaming laptop.

Razer, just like other smartphone manufacturers, can see how much humanity depends on their smartphones. When you connect the two devices, the phone powers a 13.3-inch screen, a full-sized keyboard, and the option to plug in external devices like a mouse. The company's rookie Razer Phone is not only getting HDR compatibility for the world's most popular video streaming service, also marking a first for Netflix. It is a notebook that is able to accommodate the Razer Phone and allows you to improve your productivity and workflow with the phone docked into an empty station that is present in the notebook itself. Hit up the project's official web page for more information. Although it's a lot more powerful than the Atrix was, powered by an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 8GB of RAM, the phone isn't only used to power Project Linda; it's also a fundamental part of a clever dual-screen design.
There's also a relatively small market for such a device as there can't be all that many Razer Phone owners out there, but as a concept I think it's absolutely incredible.
