RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita did not celebrate after scoring the opening goal in Saturday's Bundesliga clash against Schalke which suggests his Liverpool switch could be imminent.

The Reds confirmed previous year that they had successfully agreed a £48m deal to sign Keita on July 1, 2018, but the recent sale of Philippe Coutinho has forced the Reds to attempt to bring the transfer forward.

Liverpool FC have already cashed in on Philippe Coutinho this month after agreeing to sell the Brazil worldwide to Barcelona on Monday.

Any early arrival for Keita may mean that the Reds will have to pay a premium to get their man, although the report goes on to state that Liverpool will not try and force the move due to their good relationship with the Bundesliga outfit.

Power Being Restored At CES After Outage
In the meantime, attendees had been evacuated from the affected space, which hosts booths for LG, Samsung and Sony among others. Organizers said power was restored to the convention center's South Hall within minutes while other areas took much longer.

Leipzig coach Ralph Hasenhuttl made clear on Thursday that he was not wiling to negotiate, however, and Klopp respects the German club's stance.

Speaking on the Transfer Talk podcast, Balague said: "I think Liverpool are going to try to offer more money if necessary, call it a loan deal, but they want to offer more money to Leipzig".

More than anything else, bringing the Keita deal forward would appease fans anxious allowing Coutinho to leave halfway through the season could disrupt the quest for a top-four spot and progression deep into the Champions League.

Rangnick told Sky Germany: "Neither the player has told us that he wants to change, nor is there an offer from Liverpool".
