WVU set for Ahmad's return in top 10 matchup

During the first half, the two teams exchanged both scoring runs and droughts and runs, but it was West Virginia who would end the first half on an 8-2 run which included back-to-back three pointers and a fadeaway shot from senior guard Jevon Carter which gave the Mountaineers a 38-31 halftime lead.
