The son of former Miami Dolphins cornerback Patrick Surtain is one of the nation's top high school recruits.

National Signing Day (part 2) is finally here. Surtain has always been a fan of former LSU cornerback great Patrick Peterson, who was the fifth pick of the 2011 NFL Draft by Phoenix.

Cornerback Eddie Smith commited to Alabama on Wednesday in front of Salmen High School in Louisiana.
