Nicole Eggert has accused former co-star Scott Baio of sexually abusing her when she was 14

It's good that she finally has, even if it's part of a publicity campaign. She later appeared on various TV shows and alleged he had had sex with her when she was a minor. The incidents allegedly occurred between 1986 and 1990, and there is a question as to whether or not the statute of limitations has run out. In a statement, Bloom said that Scott Baio answered to all the questions and acquisitions filed against him.

Eggert also claimed that Baio physically abused when she told him she wanted to date boys her age. She believes that is the equivalent of filing a complaint and expects to be given a copy of the police report eventually.

"Yesterday Nicole Eggert and I met with two police detectives from the sexual assault unit at my law firm", Eggert's attorney Lisa Bloom told THR in a statement on Wednesday.

The outlet noted that, unlike in her previous claims, Eggert compiled a list of witnesses who said they observed inappropriate behavior by Baio during this time.

Eggert, 46, has accused the 57-year-old of molesting her between the ages of 14 and 17, while they worked together on the US sitcom, which ran from 1984 to 1990. Bloom continued to say that the Los Angeles police department interest in the case was entirely welcomed and that they would fully comply and cooperate with the police during the investigation period. "If anyone else has information about this matter please contact us", Bloom added.

Eggert alleges that Baio and she had sexual encounters when she was 14-16 years old during the time they co-starred on Charles in Charge in the late 1980s. Baio said he had consensual sex with her once, but only after she had turned 18, the legal age of consent.

Eggert first came forward with allegations about Baio on social media, claiming Baio "molested" her when she was a minor and when the pair were co-starring together on the CBS family sitcom. Both also have gone on rival morning programs to hurl accusations and denials at each other.

The actress first came forward with the accusations against her "Charles in Charge" co-star on January 28.

After Eggert first went public with her molestation allegations, Baio defended himself on Twitter and posted a Facebook Live video to try and "prove" her allegations were false. The 57-year-old actor has previously denied Eggert's sexual abuse allegations, saying she is "provably wrong" and "deliberately lying".
