Hong Kong double decker bus accident rescue operation

At least 18 people were killed in the accident, while 62 more were injured, the paper reports.

Nineteen people were killed on Saturday when a double decker bus overturned in Hong Kong, police said.

The city's worst road traffic accident occurred in 2003 when a double-decker bus collided with a truck and plunged from a bridge, killing 21 people. Dozens of others are being treated at hospitals. Among those, according to the Times, 15 were hospitalized in serious condition, and 10 were deemed critical.

The accident was the city's deadliest bus incident in almost 15 years. "He then started to drive the bus like he was flying a plane".
