11 February 2018, 01:11 | Austin Hogan
The former clubs and team-mates of Liam Miller have joined the outpouring of tributes paid to the former Celtic and Manchester United midfielder, who died on Friday aged 36.
The father-of-three, who was four days short of his 37th birthday, also played for Celtic and Manchester United during an illustrious career, which took him to five countries and saw him represent his country on 21 occasions.
Celtic held a minute's silence in tribute to their former midfielder before the Scottish Cup game against Partick Thistle on Saturday.
The thoughts of everyone at the Premier League are with Liam's family and friends.
Leeds United players also wore black armbands for Miller who had a loan spell at Elland Road during the 2005/06 season.
He had been playing in the American third-tier United Soccer League for Wilmington Hammerheads, having first made his name in Martin O'Neill's Celtic team in 2004.
Faster growth could lead to further rise in interest rates
That view includes an assumption that Britain will be able to get "a smooth adjustment" to a new trading relationship with the EU. The central bank also expressed some concerns and revised its predictions of economic growth on the lower side.
RTE's John Creedon also paid a touching tribute on social media.
Former England captain and teammate of Miller's at Man Utd, David Beckham, said his thoughts were with Miller's family, adding: "Rest In Peace".
Beckham tweeted: "Our thoughts are with Liam's family".
Leeds wrote: "Everyone at Leeds United are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former #LUFC midfielder Liam Miller".
At the end of his career, Miller headed to Australia's A League, where he featured for Perth Glory, Brisbane Roar and Melbourne City.
Miller is survived by his wife and three young children. Irish rugby legend Brian O'Driscoll tweeted: "Awful to wake up to the sad news of Liam Miller's passing". He went on to play for his national side for another five years and scored just once for the greens, a stunner in a 3-0 win over Sweden. He was a quiet, unassuming young man and was popular with everyone at Carrington.
