One more soldier was killed after a group of heavily-armed militants stormed a military camp in Jammu early on Saturday. Before he could act, the terrorist started firing and the jawans retaliated with force. The personnel have been identified as JCO M Ahsraf Mir and Madan Lal.

A Raj Bhavan spokesman said that the governor spoke to Lt. Gen. Anbu and conveyed grief over loss of life of a JCO and wished speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.

The audacious attack began around 4.50am. The Army said it has found a flag of "Mohammed Afzal Guru Brigade" of Jaish from the slain terrorist. Jammu IGP SD Singh Jamwal was quoted as saying by the ANI that the number of terrorists is not known.

- Meanwhile, the J&K legislative assembly, which was in session today, witnessed heightened tensions as the BJP lawmakers raised slogans against Pakistan to protest the terror attack in Jammu.
