At Disney World, prices for "value" days increased to $109 for adults and $103 for children - a $2 uptick - and prices for tickets during regular days increased to $119 for adults and $113 for children - a $4 increase, according to the Associated Press. The hike comes after Disney reported increased attendance at its theme parks in its first-quarter. That's a $4 increase.

A one-day, one-park adult ticket remains 97 US dollars for low-demand days, such as weekdays in May, while a ticket for regular demand days is 117 USA dollars, up from 110 US dollars.

Disneyland is holding the value-season price for a one-day, one-park ticket steady at $97 and is actually dropping the price of a one-day Park Hopper on value-season days by $10, from $157 to $147.

The price increases - which also impacted other Disney properties like Epcot, annual pass prices and parking prices - come amid an effort to spread out park attendance to lessen crowds and shorten wait times for lines. The "peak" prices will be $129 for adults and $123 for children. Former Signature pass costs 849 USA dollars, which includes free parking, goes up to 999 US dollars while the most expensive Signature Plus pass, with free parking and an online app to board rides faster, is now 1,149 USA dollars, up from 1,049 US dollars.

The Disneyland resort raised prices over the weekend, several months before the park plans to unveil a remake of its boardwalk-themed area at the California Adventure Park.

Russian aircraft crashes after takeoff from Moscow
Russian Federation has suffered numerous plane crashes, with airlines often operating ageing aircraft in unsafe flying conditions. In March 2016, a Boeing 737-800 flown by FlyDubai crashed while landing at Rostov-on-Don, killing all 62 people aboard.

That means that at some point in 2018, multi-day tickets to Walt Disney World's theme parks will become date-specific.

The price for parking is also increasing.

However, Sunday's move was widely expected as the park prepares for the 2019 opening of its much-anticipated "Star Wars" land.

All of the changes are reflected on the parks' websites.
