Markle, who got engaged to Prince Harry in November, intends to become a British citizen following their royal wedding on May 19. When the People'sPrincess was just 20, Stephen created a series of timeless berets for her to wear, which he told Vogue he embroidered with her initials and the Prince of Wales's feathers.
Since their announcement, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been inseparable, being seen at plenty of royal appearances and it's even been reported that Meghan's mum recently flew in for her baptism into the Church of England.
Markle joined her husband-to-be and Britain's other senior royals including Harry's father, Prince Charles, and his elder brother Prince William and his wife Catherine at London'sWestminster Abbey for the Commonwealth service on Monday.
The former One Direction star turned to his band and fist-bumped them following a successful cover of Waiting On the World to Change by John Mayer for the Royal Family. In her Commonwealth Day message, which featured in the service, the Queen has praised the "Commonwealth connection" that allows people from different nations to bond and celebrate "diversity".
