More than 50 Palestinians were martyred by Israeli army gunfire and thousands more were injured during anti-occupation rallies Monday along the Gaza Strip's eastern border, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

The Palestinian protests will be continued on Tuesday, too as the culmination of the "Nakba" commemoration is near.

Last week, the Israeli government said the ongoing border protests constituted a "state of war" in which worldwide humanitarian law did not apply.

"Israel is carrying out state terror at the moment". It proves this with the steps it is taking now as a terrorist state.

The United States is due to officially move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem on Monday in a move that has delighted Israel but infuriated Palestinians.

"What Israel has done is a genocide. As it was before, Jerusalem will continue to be independent Palestine's capital", he said.

He also said Turkey had called for an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to be held on Friday.

The Turkish president announced he was calling a "giant meeting" on Friday to protest Israel's actions at the vast Yenikapi area in Istanbul, which has capacity for more than a million people.

He said the Turkish Red Crescent would deliver humanitarian aid and medical equipment to hospitals in Gaza and has made an emergency purchase of $100,000 for this objective.

Mr Erdogan condemned President Trump's decision to move the U.S. embassy to the contested city of Jerusalem, a move that Britain and other European powers oppose. I urge Christians, Jews and believers of other religions who have common sense to raise their voices against this injustice.

Erdogan also criticized US President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw from the Iranian nuclear deal, Ynetnews.com reported.
