Make Palestine kneel like Kim did, Giuliani suggests

U.S. lawmakers want Trump to report on North Korea nuclear program

President Trump said Thursday it is "certainly" possible he could invite Kim Jong Un to visit the White House if next week's nuclear summit in Singapore "goes well".

"Rudy doesn't speak for the administration when it comes to this negotiation and this set of issues", Pompeo told reporters at the White House.

Mr Trump said on Tuesday that plans were "moving along very nicely". "It's about attitude. It's about willingness to get things done", he said.

The unofficial guest list of individuals flying into Singapore while the summit occurs, however, has been growing daily, now including former White House aide Sebastian Gorka, Fox News host Sean Hannity, and former National Basketball Association star Dennis Rodman, who has made several trips to North Korea and describes Kim Jong-un as a "friend".

But Mr Trump warned "he was prepared to walk away" if the summit did not go well.

Pompeo took a slap at Giuliani for the remark but also said: 'I took it as it being a small room and and not being serious about the comments.

Rob Taub: I think that we don't really know.

The often prickly North Koreans did not immediately respond to Mr. Giuliani's portrayal of what happened, and Mr. Pompeo sought to play it down as a joke.

He said: "I did it once before". I've told you that many times before.

His meetings were aimed at rallying support from key allies for amending the global nuclear deal with Iran and for pushing Iranian forces out of neighboring Syria. "It would be wonderful if it were".

The President also said he could envision a normalisation of ties between the U.S. and North Korea if a deal is reached with Mr Kim. Multiple US and N Korean teams are holding simultaneous meetings ahead of the Singapore Summit.

McGuinness is scheduled to meet with doctors at Duke late this week to discuss the next step in her treatment process. After she emailed the show's producers, he went for tests and was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at the age of 31.

President Trump ended his remarks by paying respects to the family of Otto Warmbier, the young man who was held hostage by North Korea and returned home in a coma after being tortured.

The two diplomats also confirmed a policy of urging North Korea to take concrete steps toward abandoning all of its weapons of mass destruction, as well as the country's ballistic missiles of any range, including short- and medium-range missiles that threaten Japan's security.

It's unclear if a casino in North Korea would be able to draw global tourists.

Above all, Trump seems most enthused by the notion of being the first sitting US leader to hold direct talks with a scion of the ruling Kim dynasty.

At the meeting with Abe, Trump said he promised to raise with Kim the subject of Japanese citizens abducted by North Korea, after Abe focused on the issue during an earlier conversation.

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday that the global community supports Trump's efforts to denuclearise the Korean Peninsula, but that "if he does succeed in his negotiations with North Korea, we want him also to remain credible on the nuclear situation in Iran".

But before tackling the thorny trade issue, Mr. Trump expressed unbridled optimism - and confidence - about his June 12 tete-a-tete with Mr. Kim in Singapore.

Mr Giuliani said: "That is my interpretation".

"I believe we'll have a terrific success or a modified success", Trump said. "But one thing I can say is that Japan and the United States are always together", Abe said.

A journalist suggested they could meet at Trump's country club in Florida, Mar-a-Lago.
