Muse thumps out during the cinematic trailer that is shown off at EA Play with a cool remix version of Uprising, while huge enemies fill the screen and high action fires out - this looks like it is something to get excited for.

Many BioWare fans have been anxiously waiting for this title considering the fact that it's BioWare's first new IP in 10 years. Which begins at the 13:20 minute mark below. Future Anthem players who want to dive right to start exploring Fort Tarsis and beyond immediately can pre-order the game now. Updates to the Madden NFL series, Federation Internationale de Football Association series, and more as technology improves to allow players to really experience the action the sports have to offer. The Ranger class appears to be the kind of standard, well-rounded class, while the Colossus is the large, heavy-hitter focusing on dishing out a ton of damage. Powerful storms, land movement, and more.

Anthem, developed by BioWare, looks like one of the biggest blockbusters in the making. What we don't know, is how it plays.

The decision to move away from "pay-for-power" advantages comes with a backstory for the publisher, which was highly criticized after revealing the extent of microtransactions in "Star Wars: Battlefront II" a year ago.

Square Enix's E3 2018 showcase is short and sweet
That suggests the transition we saw in the video is how the game works - blending TV show style cut scenes with gameplay. That trailer also featured more footage of the confirmed worlds and even some new hints at the major plot of the game.

Another mechanic that EA and BioWare seem to be playing up is the ability for players to customize their characters. Armaments, color, and more. Customisation is a big effort here; skins, weapons etc. - there are a whole host of options to make your javelin your own. The goal of the game is to defend your city and stop an unknown source from using a new weapon fueled with poison.

Developer BioWare went in depth on its upcoming multiplayer role-playing adventure Anthem today as part of its EA Play media presentation today. The graphics were unbelievable and tons of details were put into every setting that was shown.

Confirmed as on the way for both iOS and Android, the game will feature real-time one-on-one matches against other players. On top of that, I get to do it at Respawn, a studio comprised of the most talented collection of game makers, creators, visionaries, and (most importantly) advocates for the player, that I have had the good fortune to work with. Up to four players band together to take on whatever perils you discover as a heroic team.
