Storm threats this evening

Our overnight storms would spark thanks to a cold front that will near Arkansas Monday night.

Storms moving across South Florida prompted multiple advisories Monday afternoon from the National Weather Service for possible flooding, strong winds, heavy rain, lightning and the potential for hail.

Wednesday some humidity creeps back in with highs in the middle 80s.

Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Scattered Storms (30%). We are under a Marginal Risk for severe weather Sunday. As of right now, there is the potential for any storms that do develop to be strong to severe.

Wed: High: 83 Low: 67 Mostly cloudy; scattered showers & storms.

Thursday into the weekend the sunshine returns with highs topping out in the upper 90s with a lot of humidity. A steady wind from the east socks us in with clouds as highs struggle to the upper 60s to near 70. While that's great news for the outdoors activities, we could us some rain around here, as the last 6 weeks have been quite dry overall.

Showers and storms will gradually fade out tonight as the heating of the day disappears. Highs will be in the mid 80's with lows in the mid 60's.

West Michigan will have a break overnight from rain showers, but will see them linger into early portions of Sunday morning for some.
