Image Police line up on the road leading to the cave as the rescue operation continues
Narongsak Osot-tanakorn, Former Governor of Chiang Rai who heads the rescue operation, said divers hope to rescue the last four boys and their coach from the cave Tuesday.
The boys underwent X-rays and blood tests and two who had signs of pneumonia were given antibiotics and are in a "normal state", he said, adding they will all remain under observation in hospital for a week. He was taken by helicopter and ambulance to the same hospital in Chiang Rai where the first four boys rescued Sunday by a team of worldwide and Thai dive experts are being treated.
The boys and the coach were found more than a week after they became stuck on a small, muddy patch deep in the cave's network of chambers.
According to NBC News, the twelve boys, ages 11 to 16, and their 25-year old coach entered the caves two weeks ago but were trapped after rain caused flooding.
The boys are being guided out of the cave by two divers with oxygen tanks. The third day of the intricate and high-risk mission aims to rescue the remaining boys and their coach and also bring out a medic and three Thai Navy SEALs who have stayed with the teenagers in their dark refuge deep within the sprawling cave.
After the location of the young soccer team and their coach was discovered earlier this month, Musk shared ideas for the rescue mission on Twitter, later revealing that his engineers would assist with the rescue.

The others are Republican targets for the confirmation vote who come from Trump-won states where they face re-election this fall. The White House said Monday that former Arizona Senator Jon Kyl would guide Trump's nominee through the grueling Senate process.
The boys have been in the cave since June 23 when they were exploring the cave and unexpected rain flooded the tunnels. Torrential rainfall and flooding cut off their escape route and prevented rescuers from finding them for nearly 10 days.
The search and rescue operation has riveted people both in Thailand and internationally, with journalists from across the globe traveling to this town along the border with Myanmar to report on the ordeal.
He said: "The water level is nearly at the same level as for the first two days so we made a decision to carry out the operation for the last batch".
Rescuers walk toward the entrance to a cave complex where five were still trapped, in Mae Sai, Chiang Rai province, northern Thailand Tuesday, July 10, 2018.
Monday's mission involved 18 divers from Thailand and overseas. Narongsak on Monday said their identities were being protected out of respect for the families of those still trapped inside the cave. "We believe that we can do even better and it will be a 100 percent success", he said.
The extraction of the 4 on Monday followed a similar pattern to the previous day, with the youngsters emerging in quick succession just before nightfall after navigating a treacherous escape route of more than 4 kilometers (2.5 miles). "Some of them had gone to rest, some others are preparing for the next operation".
But weather and water levels will also affect plans for the final rescue.
The first thing the Thai boys rescued from a cave said was that they missed their homes and were happy to be out of the cave, officials said.
