Renard Matthews Remembered by Family in Unique Way at Wake

It's an unconventional way of honoring someone's death, yet the Matthews family believes it'll help his friends remember him in the best way possible.

New Orleans' WDSU-TV identified the man as Renard Matthews, saying he died June 25 after being shot in the head. For his wake, they chose to have him in a recliner wearing a Kyrie Irving jersey and matching socks, playing National Basketball Association 2K, with junk food on the side. Despite being from New Orleans, Matthews was apparently a huge fan of the Boston Celtics, and his favorite things to do were to play video games and eat junk food.

Not only was he representing his favorite team, but he was also "playing" NBA2K on his Xbox One.
