Creepy helicopters spotted hovering'eerily over London ahead of Donald Trump visit

As U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May's "embarrassing sham of a government" continued its slow-motion collapse on Monday with the resignation of Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, British authorities scrambled to prepare for "unprecedented" protests against U.S. President Donald Trump's upcoming visit by launching a major police mobilizationaimed at containing what organizers have dubbed "The Carnival of Resistance".

Ms Elliott, who is originally from Virginia, said she is hopeful there could be a state visit by Mr Trump next year.

She said: "I think he means to put America first and I think he's been doing that and he's been very consistent with his campaign promises".

Besides protests, United Kingdom supporters of President Trump are also scheduled to hold Pro-Trump rally outside the US Embassy in London.

Hundreds of thousands of Britons are expected to take to the streets nationwideon Friday in opposition to Trump, who is scheduled to arrive in the U.K. Thursday evening.

One of Trump's greatest obsessions was dismantling ObamaCare, and the president tweeted about the UK's NHS service as proof of that a universal healthcare system is unworkable.

The largest demonstration is expected in central London on Friday where a giant "Trump baby" balloon will fly close to Parliament after being given the go-ahead by Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.

On the United States embassy: Trump cancelled his first planned visit earlier this year, saying the embassy's move from Grosvenor Square in Mayfair district to an "off location" at Nine Elms, south of the Thames, was a "bad deal".

Trump's military entourage arrived at the Essex airport well before the United States president - who was delayed at a North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit in Brussels after he made a surprise press conference about defence spending.

Mr and Mrs Trump will also join the Queen for tea at the Castle.

The state visit was never actually scheduled - there has been fierce opposition to it in many quarters of Britain - and this trip is part of a working visit instead, meaning among other things that Mr. Trump will overnight at Winfield House, the US ambassador's handsome residence near Regents Park, rather than at Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle as a guest of the queen.

May welcomed Trump's decision to "engage" with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Finnish capital on July 16.

Once in the UK, Trump and the First Lady will travel to the magnificent Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire for a black tie dinner with around 100 leading business figures and UK politicians.

"We in this country, and I hope I do not regret saying this, are very good at this sort of thing".

On Friday, he will visit off-camera a British military base and will have a working lunch at Chequers with the Prime Minister, where a number of issue including trade and Brexit will be discussed.

Later, Trump will take tea with Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle, a home to the royals for 1,000 years, part of a tour created to keep him away from protesters.

Russia, Brexit and the Middle East are set to top the agenda.
