GETTYChelsea transfer news Barcelona want Eden Hazard as Roman Abramovich considers selling
Barcelona have ruled out the possibility of signing Chelsea star Eden Hazard this summer because of the costs of a potential deal. "Certainly with Real Madrid - a club where things change quickly - chasing a new superstar".
He said last week: "The point is: my children live in Madrid".
Real Madrid have been linked with Hazard but, according to Transfermarketweb, the Belgium worldwide has reportedly agreed to sign for the Catalan giants and will move in a £80m deal. Recently, Hazard admitted that Madrid would be any footballer's dream, regardless of the fact that Zidane is no longer the manager.
Chelsea finished in fifth place on the Premier League table last season and that meant that the West London club would not be eligible to play in the Champions League for next term.
If they hold off and Hazard fails to extend, they could lose out on precious millions.
Having missed out on Antoine Griezmann, however, Barcelona are said to have identified Hazard as their primary transfer target and are also preparing a second bid for his Chelsea teammate Willian, who is also of interest to Manchester United.
But Terreur says that while Barcelona HAVE made contact with Hazard, Chelsea are reluctant to sell.
While it does seem like the Belgian captain, Hazard, is the best and most feasible choice, it remains to be seen if Madrid can succeed in prying him away from Roman Abramovic's grasp.
Charges dropped after Stormy Daniels arrest
Asked about the arrest, a man who answered the phone at Sirens on Thursday morning declined to comment or provide his name. Another police detective, who was standing near the bar area, saw it all happen, according to the police report.
