Thai navy SEALS reveal incredible footage of daring cave rescue

Officials plan to rejuvenate the Forest Park and establish a museum to highlight the rescue of the Wild Boars football team
Thai navy SEALs posted a almost six-minute video on their Facebook page that shows rescue workers pass along green stretchers in which the boys were being transported.
On Monday, July 2, nine days after becoming trapped, a group of divers found the boys 600 yards away from Pattaya Beach, an elevated rock mound within the cave system that is oftentimes used by those inside the cave when flooding occurs.
The 12 boys rescued from a cave in Thailand are reported to be feeling better Thursday morning. In the video, Volanthen is heard talking to the group, telling them at the time that they had been in the cave for 10 days and that many rescuers were coming to save them.
Each of the boys lost weight while stranded in the cave and will be kept in Chiang Rai Prachanukroh Hospital for a week before going home, a public health official said.
Several boys can be seen in facemasks and hospital gowns, at least one giving a victory sign for the camera.
Desperate attempts to free the trapped "Wild Boars" soccer team and their coach from a flooded Thai cave were hindered by wild weather and low oxygen.
But Chaiyananta, whose job was to help transfer the kids along between chambers two and three, said they were all "sleeping" on the harrowing journey out.
Wet and cold, some of the boys fell asleep as they were hauled along to the exit, but there were more than 100 people stationed along this section, including nurses who checked their temperature, blood pressure, pulse and oxygen levels. Chu is teaming up with global production company Ivanhoe Pictures (Ghoul) to bring the sensational rescue story.
The former governor of Chiang Rai province, Narongsak Osatanakorn, the local official in charge of the rescue operation, told ABC News some of the boys were too weak to really walk. It took the divers about eight hours to get into the cave, reach the boys and bring them back out. "The divers carried them out and they were wearing wetsuits to keep them warm", Thai navy SEAL chief Apakorn Youkongkaew said.
"I wish them a speedy recovery so we can play football together again".
This was evident in some footage released by the Thai Navy SEALs where the Thai divers could be seen using pulleys, ropes and rubber piping to haul stretchers holding two of the immobile young footballers to safety.
Otherwise, they can submit a bachelors degree or diploma or ask for a special grant from the Thai government to get Thai nationality, he said.
The rescue has dominated front-page headlines in Thailand and beyond for days.
"I hope one day, in a few years, they will be able to tell their story, because, like ours, it's a story of faith and hope", Urzua told Reuters.
He said, "The situation went beyond just being a rescue mission and became a symbol of unity among man".
